I''ve never really explained this, but my daughter started dating her boyfriend back in early January after meeting him during the holidays. They had an instant connection and there was very early talk about the future! She is really lucky because he asked her early on about what she wanted as far as wedding, kids, etc. And he has made specific comments about "their" wedding...like how many people do you think we''ll have? what kind of food will we have? how many bridesmaids will you have, because I need to have X number of guys? etc. She''ll be 24 soon and he''ll be 28 in a few weeks, so they are at a good point in life to get married!

I''ve been watching BWW a lot (when I haven''t been traveling this summer) to get wedding ideas in my head. She doesn''t want to jinx anything, so she won''t look or plan until she has the proposal and the ring! She''s not expecting anything until the end of the year or early next year, but the indications are there that 2010 will likely be the year of the wedding!

I''m hesitant to post pictures of them here, but just so you know that DSsdaughter really exists, here''s a little one (I hope!):

Good question, actually! I added her to the list probably in late Feb. or March. I think she started out around #125. She has no free time, really, so I don't really think she'll be joining this forum. So I'm just sticking her in as a LIW since I'll be the future MOB! Ha! We are very close and I think we'll have a great time through this process!

(Also forgot to mention that he had her meet his parents who live in another state in March and then we met and had dinner with them when they came in May. So this guy is really a planner, which is nice!)

I think it is cool you are so excited for them, my Mom was always anti-wedding, so I always appreciate Mom''s who want to help their daughter make their dream day a reality.

Thank you all for your sweet comments! I truly do feel sad when I read stories on the brides forum of girls who do not have a supportive mom. I want to help my daughter have as stress-free an engagement as possible and a very special wedding day! I hope the same for all of you, too!!!

Y''all are all so sweet! Thanks! I do think they are a good match. One day C was in front of the mirror and he walked up behind her and she said, "You know, we look like brother and sister!" Sometimes people are attracted to people that look like them, apparently! Haha!

It will be fun for me to stay on PS for the wedding planning stage because I will be saving money for a wedding rather than buying jewelry for myself at this point!
