In person, I thought it looked fine but I didn’t take a picture like I should have. So now I’m worried as it’s too late… or maybe I can ask to see the others again. I have a pic for reference. Why does it look so blurry. Thank you all!

Hello and welcome to PriceScope, heyholiday!
Despite having the latest/newest IGI report with representative Ideal-Scope image, I have some concerns about the minor details of cut precision as well as the potential for CVD graining.
I found a previous listing for it at a diamond search engine for a little over USD$900.
Cheap price tags and larger carat weights mean tread cautiously when it comes to the quality of the grown diamond crystal, the proportions and angles, and the finer details of cut precision. Sometimes you can find a great diamond at a dirt cheap price, but that seems to be getting more and more rare as the market gets flooded with bad quality diamonds, in my opinion.

My bf already purchased, I wonder if I can ask to . Idk, I’m sad. Thank you for the answer, I appreciate it.

It may be just fine...just be sure to assess it in a variety of different lighting conditions to ensure that it doesn't appear hazy or cloudy from light scattering, if the graining is a problem. It may not be and all may be just fine and dandy with the diamond. There's only so much that we can tell (and speculate) from a grading report and only one or two pictures.
You have a great advantage being able to see it in person and rule out a lot of things, whereas folks buying online give up that privilege and should always err on the side of caution to avoid any and all risks.

If I can only see graining with a 10x loupe, will it matter much to the naked eye? I was able to source others, thank goodness. I feel as if graining for CVD might just be something that most have? Thank you for your reply!
