Did you watch ''Invasion''?

It's been cancelled!!! I just noticed it's not on the fall lineup and I found an article from May that said ABC dropped it.

I am SOOO bummed! I hope they decide to bring it back...apparently it's not unheard of to do that if their new fall shows don't all work out.

i heard that all the actors have been released from their contracts already - which makes a continuation of the series extremely unlikely.

I have also heard that they were thinking of a mini-series or movie of the week type deal to conclude the story tho (which would have to have the actors sign up for a different contract anyway)

sucks cause it was actually starting to get interesting!

I KNOW and now I am going to be thinking about the stupid finale forever now! we LOVED the show even if 1/2 of what was going on never made sense.

The really had a cliff hanger since the show was on the schedule until a couple of days before the season finale aired!!
No one knew it would turn into the SERIES finale. Sucks big time.

What''s funny is that now I see the sherrif guy in TONS of shows/movies.

we also watched Surface (bf is big into scuba and the promos for the series had scuba in it so he was hooked) and if you think Invasion made no sense -- Surface was like the ramblings of a drunken 2 year old. No wonder that one got canned so quick. Toward the end we actually watched it on "fast forward" on the dvr cause we couldn''t handle the stupid dialog - but we wanted to know what happened!!

Oh no not Invasion!!! Is there no justice in the world of television? No wonder reality shows are so popular at least they end each season.

Hopefully the petition will have some effect?? Goodness, There were like 35 thousand signatures... Maybe our little people voices will have some influence with mega-corporation ABC.

ARrrgh, I KNOW, my in-laws were fighting about it all weekend! I saw the first couple of episodes, then I kinda petered out on it...my MIL and FIL are always arguing with one of my SIL''s whether a woman will be president one day. (I, MIL, and FIL are in agreement that it will happen, SIL, who is a 4th grade teacher, 42, never married, thinks a woman won''t do the position justice. Go figure.

)

I watched a few episodes of Invasion last year but never enough to really follow the story. I also started watching Reunion which wasn''t great, but they also never finished that series either. I hate it when the networks pull stuff off with no closure.
