Good morning ladies!

I''m DIY''ing my ceremony decor (flowers in vases/accents) and so I''m currently hunting for the best deals on bulk flowers. I''m specifically looking for hydrangeas, either in white or green, but I''m also on the look out for good deals on green cymbidium orchids. Anywhoo, FTD.com came up in a google search and they have really fantastic prices it seems (and no shipping!). For example, for 40 stems of white hydrangeas, it''s $110. It''s $109 for 30 stems at costco and $189 for 30 stems at 50Flowers.com! The other big bulk distributors are around the same price as 50flowers. So if you''re considering doing your flowers yourself, definitely check out FTD.com (as in FTD florists who deliver your birthday/V-day bouquets!).

Also wanted to add. 50flowers and weddingflowersofamerica.com both have peonies right now.

I bought a bouquet of 11 peonies at a bulk produce supplier this past weekend for $6. Yes, SIX DOLLARS. You have no idea how much I wish my wedding was THIS weekend instead of two weeks from now.

Thanks for the heads up though. I am contemplating ordering bulk flowers. I was originally going to get myself a 5 gallon bucket, put some water in it, and go buck wild at the bulk produce supplier who also happens to sell awesome cut flowers but now that I am going to drive up to my wedding site 4 days before the wedding I am a little nervous about the flowers looking their best on the day.

Off to check out FTD.

Sams Club is slightly cheaper for white hydrangea. 20 stems for $50.58 delivered.

Claire, where are you again? CT? I''m actually looking for a wholesale place to physically go to, but the places up here are all for pros. I''d totally be willing to drive to CT to get flowers.

Does Sam''s club tack on an additional fee if you''re not a member? Costco does, so I assume Sam''s does to...Good deal though if they don''t!

Do you know anyone with a Sam''s Club Card that might be willing to drive down there with you?

I don''t think Claire is talking about Sam''s Club for the produce place. We have Sam''s club where I am.

First... I messed up on the price. Its $53.24 for 20 stems.
I do think you have to be a member to buy. One of my BMs gave me her Sam''s log-in info to order.

And yes, the produce place I was talking about is local. I live in the Philly area and its called Produce Junction. There are a few around here.

Boo...Philly is too far.

I am from RI but I live in Philly area.

My friend who is having her wedding in New England has been researching wholesalers in the area to get her wedding flowers. I will ask her for the list of places she has been going and pass it on to you.

Yea, I remember you''re from the area. But for some reason I thought you were living in CT. Oh well...

I just ordered my flowers from Sam''s club and for $500 I got:

250 roses
150 mini calla lilies
and 60 stems of white hydrangea...score? I think so!
