I haven’t made a listing yet, wanted to see if any interest here first.. I had David Klass remove the stone from this setting that he made and it’s still with him at the moment while I’m having him make a new ring. He said that he or another setter can reset it with another 7mm round, but that the bezel will need a bit of work. So I was thinking of asking 150. The ring is 14k white gold with palladium, Size 6.75, very comfortable

Lovely! I'm curious if DK has given you any idea of what it would run to rework the bezel?

He just responded and said he could set a new stone for 150. I think he charges 75 for stone setting only so 75 for reworking the bezel
 
Agh this is exactly what I was looking for but my stone is 6.7x6.65. It's a lovely setting!

If you like I can ask him if that would work. I was hoping to get a larger stone in there but it couldn’t happen so perhaps smaller would be ok

Ah yes please, I'll have to convince my husband bc I just made two big purchases but I've been wanting a palladium white gold bezel for years.

Mine is 6.8 mm. :-(. I’m sure a lucky lady will have the perfect-fitting stone! Unless he gave a tolerance window to 7 mm and I’m in it, of course! Anyway, have a great night!

Yeah he said 6.8 might work but would require building up the bezel so it would be thicker and not look the same, so 7mm is best
