Do you think this sapphire will be too dark in person?

Hi! I've been looking around this site for a while and just registered today! Yay!
I've been really into colored stones for quite some time and have bought several stones off the internet. I'm now looking at some parti-colored and teal sapphires (my new fav) but I wanted you ask you guys if this particular one is okay.

Personally, I don't think I'm a huge fan of dark colored stones, mainly because the ones I've seen went completely black and didn't have any sparkles. So I'm trying to avoid sapphires that go pitch black and don't shine but I feel like most photos are taken in really bright light.

Well, anyways, the sapphire that I'm looking at is a 1.35ct teal blue sapphire from Madagascar. It comes with a lab certificate (GFCO gem lab) and says it is completely untreated. Here are some pics of the stone and lab certificate.

What do you guys think? I'll really appreciate some feedback :) Thanks!

I personally would avoid.

It might be worthwhile to ask for additional pictures, from farther away, on the hand, in more mixed lighting. However, I assume these pictures were done to have the sapphire look as good as possible, and I’m seeing a lot of extinction (the dark areas). There is absolutely some beautiful teal color, but 60-70% of the stone is black.

i feel sad
the teal looked so pretty
but i have several too dark saphires so i understand your worry

Agree, gems also darken when set. Unfortunately that sapphire will require very bright lighting / sunshine to show colour. Inside at home, office, car etc it will have basically no “life”.
shame, such pretty tones.

Thank you all so much for your help! It's my first time posting something like this on a forum and I really loved all the help and comments I received! I'll look for better ones that I'm sure to enjoy :)
