I recently saw a Mulberry store in Tokyo. It was closed so I wasn''t able to go in but I saw a bag in the window which I later found out was the Bayswater. I don''t remember ever seeing a Mulberry store in northern california. I see that net-a-porter sells them but I really don''t want to buy a bag without knowing how the leather feels. Does anyone on PS own one?

I had to open this thread to find out what a Mulberry was! I wondered if it was a purse or a variation on a blackberry! I cannot follow all the new high tech gadgets. My great-nephew has an iPad, but I am not sure how it differs from a laptop computer (although I have seen it)!

I have a lovely mullberry bag. I love it, the leather is so soft and luxurious. I use it as my day bag and it still looks great. I bought it while we lived in the UK. I love the understated quality and the fact that it really isnt well known were I am (in Australia).

they have a great website, the bayswater is one of their icon pieces so to speak.

You dont have to worry about the leather, it is pure quality and well made. English leatherwork at its best.

good luck

I just bought the Alexa in black and I am very pleased with my purchase

the leather is soft buffalo and the quality is amazing - including the finish and the details on the bag

(I love that the top flap is lined in the softest suede!!)

I have several Marc Jacobs and a Chloe and this Mulberry is up there against those - if not above their standard

I also have their passport holder in the oak (this is a tan hue) but this leather does mark easily - so don''t get anything in the oak unless you adore a vintage and beaten look
