Does this 4mm wedding band look too narrow on my finger?

Hi,

I am trying to decide between 4mm and 5mm for my wedding band. My ring size is 7.5. I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I recommend a little wider since I think the milgrain makes it look more narrow.

If the band is the only ring you are going to wear on that finger, then IMHO, a wider band would look more appropriate.

DK :))

Wider.

Looks like I'm the odd PSer out. I actually like the 4mm band!!

Could you post a comparison pic of the 4 and 5 mm bands?

Hi Dave,

The band looks fine on you but my preference also runs towards a wider band.

I like the 4mm. I have to say though I have a very similar one in the 3mm size. I would love to see the 5mm on you to get a true idea of which would be my preference. Your preference is the most important though.

Are you a lady or guy? I'd prefer 4 mm on you if you were a lady and wider if man. May I ask where you got the band from? I love it.

No, I like the band also.
It looks quite classic.

I would definitely NOT go wider. It's funny how we all seem to have strong opinions on it. :)

for a man, wider. woman it's fine as is.

I like the one you're wearing. Wider wouldn't be bad and 1mm isn't a huge difference, but I like this one.

I assumed the OP is male based on the username, and responded accordingly.

I could be wrong though.

DK :))

That is a beautiful band. I would go a little thicker, maybe 6mm?

I would go to 6 or 7mm if you want a more masculine look. The 4mm is a daintier and more feminine look. I do like the style of band on you regardless though. Classic but not boring.

I agree that for a woman, 4mm looks great, for a man I would go wider ( up to 7mm).

Hubby is a size 7 - 7.5 (he has some of each) and his is a 5 mm band
I prefer 5 mm over 4 mm on a man.

(ignore the diamond)

I think it looks fine and most importantly what do you think?

HI:

I like the band, seems to fit very well. Appears proportionate.

Increasing width also means increasing ring size....otherwise finger cleavage results...

cheers--Sharon

I like this one too - classic look!
