Does this band need a spacer?

If I stack it again my diamond ring? Or is it considered channel or semi bezel and therefore safe? Or is there a chance that the diamonds can hit my stone and damage it?

I think if you can definitely tell that the prongs of the gemstone ring cant fit in between the prongs of the 5 stone then
you're probably ok. To me, it looks* like they cant but its hard to tell from just pictures.

It’s beautiful, but having had a chainsaw massacre of my own (my bar set anniversary band ‘ate’ my ER setting and I had to choose another), I’d vote for a spacer.

Ty all for chiming in. I’m quite smitten with this band—the stones—so I’m trying to maximize my wear by stacking it but have noticed the awkward length and height doesn’t really lend itself to doing that. Sigh.

It shouldn't chainsaw- there's sufficient metal buffer with the prong on the carre. If you want a spacer then sure, but it's not necessary.

It was a pawn shop a couple miles from the beach—so maybe that’s why? They wouldn’t budge on the price tho and only gave me 15 percent discount!

That’s still not bad, at least they bargained a little! I bet it jumped right out at you too, the diamonds look to be very high quality. It’s a stunning piece.
