I''m wondering if there is a web site where there are pictures of women in wedding gowns who are somewhere between a size 0 and a size 22. Does that exist? How can you look at a gown on a woman who''s 50 pounds, easily, thinner than you, and know if the dress would be pretty on your shape? It appears as if most of these dresses are worn by the same shape, thin and curvy.

Any help?

Hmmm. The only way I can think of would be to look at pics of real-life brides. Many gals have "bios" on theknot.com that you can look over. They post all details regarding their wedding (similar to what a couple of gals have done here on PS), and that includes pics of their dress fittings, etc...

Hope this helps!

Charger''s right on.... the knot bios are a great source for "real" pics. But I think you really just have to try ''em on... all different styles. Even ones you think you wouldn''t like. It''s really hard to tell what is actually going to look good without trying them on yourself.

David's Bridal has an entire section called "David's Bridal Woman" (David's Bridal Woman) modeled by women sizes 14W to 26W.

Chargergrrl's idea is a great one, too!
