Double halo for my cushion?

Dear PS'ers,

I currently own a 2.24 cushion in a halo setting. As you might see on the pictures, there is the tiniest airline between the stone and the setting and it really bugs me (crazy, I know...) . I was thinking about having it reset in a double halo (Tiffany soleste wise). What are your thoughts on this, given the size of the center diamond?

Your EC eternity band is so gorgeous and you can wear the two rings together now. It's a good look! If you reset your beautiful cushion in a double halo with split shank, will you be able to continue to wear them together? Or were you planning to wear them on different hands?
I'm sure a double halo would be great for your stone, give it a bigger presence, etc. but if you want to wear the two rings together, might it be too bulky?

If that's the case and you want to change the setting because of the airline and you're ok with not wearing them together, then I think your stone is the perfect size and shape for the double halo/split shank you posted. If you wear that ring stand-alone, it will give you a more substantial look. Either way, you can't go wrong! I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to do!

I’m a huge air line fan, and I love your current setting. However, I think the dbl halo will also look lovely.

I am also an airline fan!!! I love your ring as is....but....I am sure it would be beautiful with a double halo....especially on your lovely hand!! Can't wait to see what you decide!!
