Dream Job.........

Thought it might be fun to find out what everyone would do if they could have their dream job

I often have this conversation with my friends at work - if I wasn''t a physio what would I love to do.........

I would LOVE to have my own teashop where i would spend the day making tea and coffee, with my sister baking and decorating cakes (something she is awesome at) and just chatting to the customers. I also see lots of funky fairy lights with old sofas so people can come in and just chill with a good book or have a natter over a cuppa char - As you can tell I have given this A LOT of thought!

So everyone what would your dream job be?.................

Being the head archaeologist on the tomb of the first emperor of China. The tomb may very well turn out to be the greatest ancient monument still in existance and all the stories make it sound very Indiana Jones. It is where the terra cotta soldiers are found, although they are on the outside of the main tomb. I have been there and I am learning Chinese, but even if they open it in my lifetime, which they may not, no people who are not Chinese would be allowed to work on it.
Oh well, I am in grad school to be an archaeologist and elsewhere in the world and there is still plenty of stuff I can dig up.

Owning a book store. I love everything about books! I wouldn''t necessarily want to run it - too much work, but just sit there and look at them all (and hopefully read a lot of them too!)

Children's books editor- one of my profs in college had formerly done this, and I understand it's not really that glamourous, but still - that episode of Sex and the City where Carrie meet Big's ex (who publishes children's books) sparks my imagination - every time, I think "Man, I'd love to have her her job."

I second the host of the travel channel! I'd love to be on one of the food network shows where they travel and all they do is eat at fabulous places.

E! host - I want to go to the Oscars and wear pretty dresses and chat up celebs.

Mmmm...I think that's probably it.

My dream job was always to be a vet and now I''m in college studying veterinary so I''m thrilled. If I hadn''t gone veterinary, I would have like to be a forensic detective, or an actress on a broadway show in NYC.

DITTO to DD''s post. I even wrote a law school app about how I''d be a rock star if I wasn''t going to be a lawyer. Turned out I didn''t become a lawyer, either, but I wasn''t denied entrance into law school because of the essay!
