This weekend, I was close to finding a dress I''d seriously consider buying, but when i got home, I found out the sales lady was lying to me about the
year the dress was produced. That really turned me off. I know she was lying b/c she purposely went to her computer to look up the year and came back with a false answer. And it''s not like there are a million dresses on the website so she would be confused. Anyway, here is the dress. (I cut out my face...yes, i''m one of those girls who don''t really want to be recognized) She probably thought I might not like the fact that it''s a "2007" dress, but in reality, I wouldn''t have cared that much.

It''s not bad, huh? The top is like a corset but very simple. I''m not to worried though. there are sooooo many pretty dresses out there!

Nice dress!

BUT, the lady left you with a bad feeling about the dress and shop. I''m sure you can find a similar, better one if you look around some more :)

It''s beautiful! If that dress is the one, try getting it from Netbride or Pearl''s Place. Their prices are usually rock-bottom, and they won''t lie to you!

The dress is pretty. Definitely not dated to 2007 at all. If anything, it looks a little more fresh? If you don''t want to keep looking, why not ask the SA or better yet the manager about the year and I''m assuming price discrepancy. No reason you should pay full price for a dress that has been sitting around for the past three years.

I have no idea why sales assistants think it is okay to lie.. personally I wouldn''t be phased if the dress I loved was this season or five years ago, in reality not many people, if anyone, will know the season of your dress.

Let us know if you decide to buy it.. it is gorgeous and looks amazing on your figure

That''s an awesome dress and it looks fabulous on you. Keep searching so you can get it somewhere else. Lying to you is not a good start, and you don''t want any negative vibes surrounding your dress.

That''s a gorgeous dress, but I agree, her lying to you sets a bad tone.

Such a lovely dress, but the lying would turn me wayyyy off!!! Keep looking, and I''m you''ll find something just as gorgeous!

Well I think that the dress looks stunning on you! I definitly would NOT buy for someone that lied to me. I would consider trying it on at another salon and seeing how I feel about it. I would not give my money to that salon though!
