Duchess cuts?

Hi all,
I tried to look, but don't see much in terms of thoughts/pics/videos of these cuts. Anyone have one? Are you happy with the performance? Any pics or videos?

Found a few that I like but just not sure how they perform IRL

They kind of reminded me of a princess cut a bit, if I recall.

I’m of no help as I don’t own one, but my newest foster dog came with the name Duchess so this thread made me smile.

That's really interesting. I've never liked princess cuts, so I'm surprised I'm drawn to these if they behave similarly. Somwthing about all of the angles is just cool

Thoughts on dutchess cuts?
I think they are neat-
along with all the other branded shallow diamond cuts including daussi.

The massive tilt window that I associate with them is the kicker.
Needs to be for a piece that when worn - it doesn’t bother me.

I have an antique one! It definitely has a window and is a bitch to keep clean (and really only performs when super clean). Performance reminds me more of a rose cut with big flashes. I love it but I love the ring more than just the stone.

I do have a few but most haven’t been set and rarely worn (not necessarily because of the cut).

The only one that is set is in a bezel on a necklace. I like that they face up large for size, and I like all the angles. Performance wise they don’t match up to a MRB for example. Princess cut is probably a fairly good comparison
