Hey all,
I'm helping a close friend of mine search for diamonds/engagement rings and he wanted my help since I purchased an e-ring 2 years ago off of WF and had a great experience. I couldn't have done it without the help of this forum, as people pointed me in the right direction where I learned E, F, G is really the sweet spot in terms of color. As well as not needing to go VVS and going with VS1 to save a little coin where you'll never be able to see the imperfections. My friend is looking for 1 to 1.3 carat. Obviously the bigger the better. What I loved about this forum is a few people were able to search using their expertise on diamonds on WF.com and actually sent me links to the best "bang for your buck" sort of speak for the size I mentioned. This would be wonderful as I could simply forward him these links and know they're great options (since I really don't know much more than he does). He said he was looking at 1 carat rings at Day's jewelers for around $6 grand, so my assumption is that's the pricing (roughly) he'd like to stick around. But in reality, I'm sure $5k to $7k would be fine with him as well. Let me know what you guys think. Thank you so much!!!

This is the highest color stone I found within budget:

If he's willing to go down to I or J in color, these are good options that would allow him to go bigger:

All of these qualify for the lifetime upgrade policy.

Here is a G color from BGD. It SI1 clarity but listing states it is eye clean, you can contact to confirm how eye clean and at what viewing distance to be sure.

BGD currently has an offer where they will mail back in a check the value of the sales tax you paid on your invoice. Might help with the budget.

In case of upgrade down the track, WF's policy generous than BGD's but BGD still offers upgrades.
