I have a few earrings projects I have had going on- and two other pairs that somehow ended up in my hands... No particular order here. Just sharing some photos!

First up:

Paraiba tourmaline cabachons with diamond clusters. Cabs are 2.65 and 2.59.

3.89 cttw of diamonds in the earrings and they measure approximately 17.5 mm. They are photographed east west sometimes, because of the Russian leverback. Modeled on a pair of antique sapphire and diamond clusters. These were made by David Klass. White gold prongs, rose gold back. If bigger earrings aren't your thing, you won't like these. I like larger earrings and feel like I can wear these now at almost 40 or when I'm 75.

Next up, conversion earrings. I had a long Edwardian necklace with two drops and one large floral drop. I really never wore it. I feel like you have to be tall, very slim and fine boned to wear those types of necklaces. I am none of those things! So I decided to turn it into earrings and a ring. The ring is not done yet.

Earrings are done. The two shorter lengths were converted to the tops of the earrings, and posts were added. The drops are untreated aquamarine, 5.18 carats. Each stone is about 9.6 by 8.7. The stones are slightly different in shape, and one is a little bit more chubby than the other by two tenths of a millimeter. You can see it when you look at them very closely but you won't ever notice it on the ear.

Sako did these for me. They are exceptionally hard to photograph. The bottom drop articulates.

Original necklace- bad photograph, but I have not had it in my possession for over a year and a half. I didn't really take a nice one before I sent it off.

The two pieces that were used for the earrings have rose cut diamonds and a small old European cut in the bezel. I would post more photos of those, but because of the articulation they are so difficult to photograph.

First, they're AMAZING and second I don't think I've ever known another person who loves earrings as much as I do. You are so my kind of person.

Both are beautiful. The aquas are such a clever way to use an unworn pendant!

Omg they are all gorgeous. They look like something royalty would wear!0

How exciting!! Both earrings are beauties!

Great design jobs and wonderful that these will now be worn and loved!

OMG!! I love them! I don't wear earrings but love looking at them on other people.... I'm THAT woman that stares at shinny blings without realizing I'm doing it  So on that note, where do you live?;)2

They are alllllll beautiful but those aquamarines make my heart thump faster… :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2:

Such pretty pretties! Really love the paraiba cab earrings (which also would make for a sweet toi et moi ring) !

Exceptional

Oooh! Both pair are stunning!!

LOVE!!! They are both stunning!

Next up, the two additional pairs that were vintage.

Both are both larger earrings again, which I like.

Coral flowers in yellow gold with approx 1.5 cttw of pave diamonds. The petals are a bit sculptural and they are surprisingly light to wear. I really love the VCA line with the pave petals, but I can't bring myself the pay VCA prices. So, these caught my eye.

Next up, opal and diamond earrings. Again, bigger earrings and quite sizable! Approx 1.5 cttw in the halo, if I recall. Opals are so hard to photograph, but these are quite lively ones, even if the body colors aren't a one hundred percent match. They are heavy though! You need to wear bling dots with these.

I do love earrings! They always fit! I am not one for simple studs either and those get the least wear (unless they are big pearls!). These join the onyx, ruby and diamond earrings I have from you! Thank you for stopping by and checking them out!

Thank you- as always. xoxo. You are the best.

Thank you- and if some princess or duchess wanted to borrow them, I'd let them! I wear them to work or to go to the grocery store! :)

How exciting!! Both earrings are beauties!

Thank you very much!

Great design jobs and wonderful that these will now be worn and loved!

I hate having unworn things that are just bad buys. So, I am really glad with the conversion to the earrings and forthcoming ring. The dangles are a bit more dressy, but at least they will get worn now!

So pretty and a great use of resources.

Yes, upcycling is the best! I was glad to reuse the necklace!

Absolutely beautiful! Those cabs just glow!

Thank you! The cabs came a lot more alive once set. I was on the fence about if it would look nice, but setting them really made them pop!

Wow! Show-stoppers!

Thank you very much!

Thank you! I check out earrings and rings in particular, so I'm right with you as the onlooker that doesn't realize it until after!

They are alllllll beautiful but those aquamarines make my heart thump faster… :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2: :kiss2:

Thank you very much! The aqua turned out really well. I was worried that they would be too pale, but I think they work nicely. Being non-precision cut is also good for this project, so it at least looks appropriate with the posts and old cuts! I do wish I would have made the attachment of the aqua almost on a jump ring of sorts, so I could change the drop out with different ones, but I don't know if it would have worked. I'm happy with the aqua though!

Such pretty pretties! Really love the paraiba cab earrings (which also would make for a sweet toi et moi ring) !

Thank you and yes- they would be a great ring. It would be sizable for sure at just under 18 mm for each earring, but I think it would be lovely. If I ever get sick of earrings, I think they are easily convertible too. But, I am an earring person, so hopefully these are good!

Exceptional

Thank you!

LOVE!!! They are both stunning!

Thank you! I am surprised I liked the paraiba as much as I do. That is the project I was most on the fence about!

Again, your taste in bling is simply exquisite, @elizat ❤️

Thank you so much! I am looking forward to seeing your new stone in the setting once it is ready for photos! It is a beautiful stone!

Wow, I love all of them but especially the opal ones. Just gorgeous!!!
