Earrings HELP....

Good match as far as mm measurements and table size. Will give you large and bright look. I’m not a fan of the large table and shallow crown, but you will get that spread-y bright look. I don’t like the visual of the first one - I do like the look of the second one. However, the 2nd one has a knot on the table... it is a VS stone so it may not be as much of a consideration but for me I just would not buy a diamond with a knot, especially on the table. The first stone has additional clouds not shown but in a VS it may not be of issue. Personally, I would keep looking but I don’t know your goal. If you want a pair of earrings that will be bright and give you a big bang for the carat weight then they may be fine. I’m more particular in my old age haha as I’ve had studs that weren’t my dream studs and also passed on some that weren’t my dream. I finally reached my stud Nirvana this summer with my E, VS, ACAs but it was $$$$$ and I’m sure many people would think stupid just for a pair of studs.

Thanks so much for the detailed review....I really appreciate it. I love diamonds too so $$$ are worth it if it makes you happy! I have a smaller pair short listed that seems like a better option....would like your thoughts on it. Would love too see a pic of your stud as my future aspiration :))

As for your 2nd pair, the ones you bought, I think better than the first set, however the first set were better match on table size and mm measurements. However, I think they will be close enough, especially since they are separated from each other by your head! I love the look of the first of this set; I don’t like the pair as well but the image is so oversized I think it will be fine.
Question: did you run these through HCA?

Congratulations! You will have them in time for that! We just had our 31st so I guess explains the color haha!

Do you feel earrings appear dark.....they have a HCA score of 0.9 and 1.0
 
They don't look dark to me! From these photos they look like a nice match with your ring. Is it possible you're seeing some shadow from the box they're in, or picking up some color from their surroundings like your phone case, or your clothing?
 
I agree with @lala646 and they are a good match to your ring. You did well.
