ebay Psychosis

OK I went on ebay to look at someone else''s ring that they posted about and ended up bidding on a ring myself. I know this is psychotic! But I bid a max of $50 and am currently the highest bidder only paying $0.55 I know I won''t win but I feel all full of butterflies and everything now. Have any of you done silly things like this before? My mom is going to kill me if I win!

I''ve bidded on many things on ebay I didn''t need... just make sure that $50 isn''t too much for your budget. If you win, congrats! If you get outbid, DON''T bid again unless you really really love it and really can afford it.

I have lots of ebay purchases... and I love them, but the majority of them were impulse purchases.

I do really really like the ring, righ shape and color which are the most important to me. Not my dream ring or anything but too good to not place a bid. And I won''t bid again if I get outbid. There is another ring with no bids I am watching that is GORGEOUSS

But there is a bit of time left for the second one and I don''t want to get my hopes up. THere is still 6 days left for the one I bid on, I didn''t look at that until just now

Seriously tho, I don''t know how I am going to explain this to my mother if I win it. But I have no bling, a tiny 5 stone CZ my mom gave me which is pretty and I love it for sentimental rewasons. But I want a REAL diamond darnit!

Meh, I am a grad student and I live with her. I am broke beyond belief because last October the place I worked for closed. And with my BF 1600 miles away I buy a plane ticket every couple of months. Recently she had to pay a loan bill that I chose not to defer because I was able to keep up with it. That''s why she would care.

BUT I already told her I bid on it. Her reply "What are you gonna do if it has a big ol'' booger in the middle?!" because it is an SI1 stone. Well poo on her. My reply was "Well than me and my booger will be more sparkly than you and your nothing!

" We both know I more than likely won''t win. But eh wish me luck

I have already been way out bid by others

But I knew it was going to happen. Just for fun here is a pic of the ring. The center stone is 1 ct H color and the side are .75 and G.

ETA: Whoops I do bad math hehehe. The ring is 2.5 tcw but the sides are just under .5 I didn't put the channel set diamonds into the equations and just looked at it again.

I made my avatar on Yahoo. If you have a yahoo account, it practically begs you to do it. It''s pretty cool actually... you can put yourself in different outfits, different backgrounds, different moods, etc... I had fun with it... and since I actually own a blue suede coat with (fake!) fur trim, I got a kick out of that.

Once it''s made, you can just copy and save as a picture. If you download it through their system, it puts a little Y in the corner.

Hi Elle!

I also made mine on Yahoo, trying to get it to look as close to the real thing as I can. It was fun. Once I made it, I had to take a screenshot and do a little cropping. Once you have an image saved, it needs to be cropped to 96x96, I believe.

Can't wait to see yours!
