Okay, this really is a true masterpiece, with fabulous finger coverage, and edge-to-edge brilliance and scintillation. I'm only selling it because I have come to realize I am a solitaire ring at heart - I just don't reach for this three-stone often enough to justify keeping it in my jewelry box - and frankly this beauty deserves to be worn daily.

Edwardian 1.70cttw OEC Platinum filigree dome ring - diamonds are G-H/VS2-SI1, bright and eyeclean - the three main stones are extremely well-matched OECs totalling 1.20cttw (0.50ct for center, 0.35ct each for the 2 sides) set in octagonal frames - plus 14 0.03ct single-cut diamonds - amazing workmanship with elaborate filigree and milgraining throughout, in perfect vintage condition - stamped Platinum.

Please let me know if you have any questions - thanks!

Two people have asked, so I thought I'd update here - I purchased this ring early last year from Jewelry Finds' RubyLane store (though I believe she also has a stand-alone website and an etsy store) - at that time, the ring was priced at $4,500.00.

I hope this ring goes to a PSer - it is top-quality, truly a work of art.

Update: I had been holding this ring for a PSer who had previously bought from me, but due to a change in circumstances she can no longer go forward with the purchase. So I thought I'd offer up the ring to the PS community at the same reduced price she and I had agreed on... $2,600.00 (with insured shipping borne by the purchaser). Thanks everyone!

I don't think the link is working. What is the size of the ring? It is beautiful.

Not sure what is wrong with the LT listing; it worked yesterday afternoon but now I can only see it if I'm signed into my account. I put a new listing on DiamondBistro so here's that link: http://diamondbistro.com/category/2...2328/Edwardian-170cttw-OEC-Platinum-Ring.html

The ring is size 7, and per my local jeweler should be resizable up to 2 sizes larger/smaller. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for letting me know about the broken LT link.

I know a couple of you had your eye on this Edwardian ring, and I just reduced the price once last time - here's the current DB listing http://www.diamondbistro.com/catego...2771/Edwardian-170cttw-OEC-Platinum-Ring.html

I did come across an antique dealer who indicated a willingness to buy this ring at the price shown in the updated listing ... of course, the dealer would then sell it at a higher price once it is added to his inventory. At this point, I am at the talking stage with the dealer, so while I am deciding whether to go forward with the dealer, I thought I'd give PSers the opportunity to purchase it at the dealer-estimated price.

If I'm going to take a bigger loss, I'd rather a PSer have the advantage; but a sale is a sale, and I want the funds .. so I plan to finalize with the dealer by mid-week if it hasn't sold by then.

Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks.
