Edwardian engagement ring

I''ve always been more of a lurker than a poster (sorry about that!) I''ve just had so much fun looking at everyone''s pretty rings My husband was kindof a rockstar buying this ring. I had no idea he had gotten it.

I saw it in an antique store in my home town and mentioned to him that I really liked it while he was deployed. I went to look at it the next day and it was GONE and I just knew he couldn''t have gotten it because how could he if he was deployed? So for the next 4 months I drove the poor boy crazy showing him pictures of every type of ring you could imagine (this one, noo, this one, noo...). When he got home he surprised me with the ring I loved the most and the one I was certain had gotten away.

It''s 1.06c I (EGL) The aset on it looks nice but I''ve never figured out how to get a non-fuzzy picture.

He went out immediately, got a pay per minute cellphone to use and called at like 3am his time to give the ladies who run the shop his credit card number so he could hold it until he came home. He is quite sneaky! Best. Surprise. Ever!
