Emerald Cut with tapered baguettes from Servis & Taylor

Hi everyone I just wanted show you guys my new engagement ring I bought for my fiancé. She really liked the Harry Winston tapered baguette setting, so I had a jeweler called Servis & Taylor (they're located in Los Angeles) make a HW inspired tapered baguette ring.

Alright so let's pick out a diamond!

She really likes Emerald cuts so I picked out one particular diamond (with the help of Servis & Taylor) that I really liked. It's a GIA certified 1.61ct F VS1 Emerald cut.

For people that want to know the technical details:
L-W Ratio: 1.33
Table: 63
Depth: 67
Symmetry: Ex
Polish: VG

Then they proceeded to create a wax for me to see what the casted ring would look like.
The ring has been casted!


The diamonds haven't even been set yet and I think it looks great!

After a few weeks of anticipation I get a call saying that the ring is ready! Ah I'm nervous..
Without further ado, here it is.


I'm not even sure the picture does the ring justice, the subtle sparkle from the EC is really something and the setting with the baguettes really compliment the stone.

So I proposed to her and she absolutely LOVES it! She constantly wears it and stares at it. So happy how it turned out!

I was never into diamonds before this process but now I know why women love them so much!
