Emerald halo ring

I am wanting have a ring designed with an old mine cut center and calibre cut emerald halo. I am wondering if anyone can share insight on if the emerald halo will make the center stone appear more yellow if I go for a warmer stone? Or would the emerald compliment a warmer stone? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Are you looking at an antique stone with a halo made of emeralds?

I would say it all depends on the modifier of the emeralds. If you pick something leaning yellow, it could increase the perceived warmth. If you pick something leaning blue, it could increase the perceived cool tone of the diamond. A neutral green is generally considered to be cool toned.

Yes, I am wanting an old mine center stone bezel set with a halo of calibre emeralds. I'm trying to gauge how warm of a stone I can go without it looking more yellow when surrounded by the emeralds. A vast majority of the halo rings I find are ruby or sapphire so I'm having a hard time finding something I can visualize before I invest.

I wonder if the diamond subforum would be better at knowing how low in color you can go. Here are some links from a jewelsbygrace archive. Lots of images for each ring. I would post more but the site is cumbersome to use.
Also the pic I attached is just eyecandy, I don't know the diamonds color but I think it was by the same vendor.
