Emerald scam price

Hi,
Im a jeweler from Germany.
I offered one of my dealers an emerald.
since I usually only buy diamonds I’m not familiar with the prices.
The Emerald is 5.3ct Columbian and vivid green.
it is treated with oil (minor-moderate)
Octagonal shape step cut.
The problem is now that he said because of the minor to moderate treatment the stone is only worth 15k$. But I can’t believe that it’s that low.

Impossible for anyone to tell you what it’s worth unless they see it. Even if you post pictures it’s incredibly hard to asses colour and clarity on a screen.
