Saw an article about a ring ( I guess this is a famous person but i have no clue who)

It is an unusual look for sure but how does she keep the pear from bumping her middle knuckle?

At least she doesnt have the pointy part toward the knuckle!!

Has anyone here have a ring with 2 center stones? Is this a new style I am not aware of?
 
She's an Instagram model and was recently named most influential by some media outlet that cares about these things.

I don't like that ring at all. It's gauche and not in a fun way.
 
I thought it looked awful. It doesn’t sit straight or look balanced.
“I can’t chose between princess or pear so I’ll take both and stick them together!”
 
This is quite possibly the most awful looking ring I’ve ever seen. But that’s just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions. Though I’m sure the diamonds independently are amazing.
 
I just can’t. I don’t care how influential she is on IG. The only influence that ring has is to convince me never to try it for myself.

And yes @LisaRN the pear is winning. o_O
 
yeah, I would make 2 rings too instead of one. I am a fan of symmetry and the OCD in me just wants to fix the pear so it is positioned upright.

It seems like they went to a store and said what do you like and she said I like the pear and the princess cut and then she couldn't decide between the two so they said " why choose" we will toss both on a band and call it a ring!
 
Yea, not a fan either. And the gold band looks like an insurance policy to keep from losing the two-diamonds ring. o_O

Not a fan of that at all! & what is with the "the ends of my fingers have been chopped off" pose? She's been an actress since Disney days, pranced around naked in a controversial music video (blurred lines), and had supporting roles on some movies and shows (Gone Girl, Entourage). Otherwise she models.
 
Hmmm. That is not my favorite.
 
I’m goinh to be in the minority here but I really like the ring! I think she has a delicate look about her and I like the heaviness of the ring on her.
 
I've seen worse!! How can you hate two beautiful diamonds sitting side by side?? It looks awkward, but they're still pretty stones!
It's not something I'd choose to wear, but if I had to...I'd wear the band at the top and that ring at the bottom (switch them around). :)
 
It looks to me like she is wearing two solitaires stacked together. If it was me (and clearly, it is not) I would go with two separate rings, or better, make one of them into a great necklace/pendant, then I would still wear both at the same time.

It looks uncomfortable. And that pear will get dirty super fast.

This girl was in the video by Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams, huge BIG HIT! video certainly helped, there is another video where they have bras on I think. This is what made this girl. I too think it's a take on the toi et moi ring, first no offense to her but the pear has a bowtie and the princess looks sorta meh to me but her husband has money I think. I don't have much faith in these young people who marry after 3 mos of dating.. but that is me.

Very unique setting, but I would ditch the wide yellow gold band. It is distracting. Also, I would set the diamonds in platinum.
