So, my sweetie popped the question yesterday. We are going to San Diego this week, so I was thinking it might be then.....he completely surprised me by doing it yesterday. He left for San Diego today and I"ll join him Wednesday. He got the ring yesterday morning and just couldn''t hold on to it. He brought out a fruit plate for an afternoon snack (pic attached) but said I couldn''t have the one in the center. After a few minutes, he got down on his knees and said a litle "poem" he''d practiced. It was so cute because rhyming was so out of character for him, plus he got nervous and was petting one of our dogs and goes "man, I''m forgetting it now"....but he quickly remembered and with tears in his eyes said "I travel the world from sea to sea and now I get down on my knee to ask you to marry me"

I always thought I could focus mainly on the ring, but I just hugged and kissed him and told him I love him. He was like "is that a yes" and I was like "oh yeah, of course...yes" and he put the ring on my finger. It''s so beautiful...

Then about 5 minutes later I got a fruit flowers delivery with an I love you balloon.

Ring is size 5 3/4 which I asked for, but it sometimes spins, so I''m going to look for a ring sizer insert today.

We both picked out the center from a local jeweler....using Pricescope knowledge

He''s not comfortable buying online and it makes me a little nervous as well. I still think we got a great deal.

I''m having trouble getting good pics of the facets....I look at it and see beautiful facets, but the pics don''t show them. Having some trouble with fire shots too.....I''ll play around some more today though.
