I HAVE IT BACK! I HAVE MY RING BACK. I have the man too, but that's an of course.
I didn't manage to post too many handshots the last time, but he asked tonight (very quietly, very perfectly for me), and now I have some photos.
the green sapphire darkens significantly (and seems to take on bluer tones) iin bright white light - but in the dim light of the restaurant it is a twinkly darker green, and in warm incandescent at home it is proper green. I know it's a muted colour that not many people are looking for on PS, but it is perfect for me - I like color without too much showiness, and the light blinking off those facets (and my single cut halo) are all the flash I need (as opposed to the sort you get with saturated stones). I hope you like the photos, and thanks all of you for the help with it!
