I got engaged on November 20th while visiting family in NH. My fiance and I have been together for 3 1/2 years and although we knew we wanted to get engaged, I had no idea it would happen then, but I'm so glad it did! The ring is beautiful! My fiance picked the stone which is a 1.00 carat princess cut, G color and SI1 clarity. The GIA certificate states excellent polish/excellent symmetry. We designed the setting together with our local jeweler who was absolutely fantastic! The setting was custom made with 14K white gold and pave diamonds totaling .47 I am in love with the ring but even more in love with the man who gave it to me.

gorgeous diamond ! and the setting is totally romantic and feminine ... congrats !!!!

Pretty! :appl:

Congratulations on your engagement!

Thank you so much! I love how the band criss-crosses on each side it reminds me of the symbol for infinity. I'm not sure if the pictures show it too well, but underneath the stone on all four sides, are small diamonds. Not necessarily a halo but more enhancing stones. I love the extra sparkle and how unique it is.

A little fire pic

Thank you!

It is beautiful and I love the twisted band. Congrats on your engagement!

Congratulations! Your ring is gorgeous- wear it in good health!

Congrats! Beautiful ring and I just love that setting!!

Congratulations on your engagement! Your ring is beautiful!! It looks like it has an undergallery. Your jeweler did a beautiful job,
it looks like a ring you could love for a lifetime!

Thank you all for your sweet comments. We are very excited! The ring exceeded all of my expectations and I love how unique and special it is. The wedding band will not sit flush but rather have the same pave detail half eternity band. I think the contrast will look nice. I like the distinction of the wedding band and engagement ring as separate pieces.

Congratulations on your engagement!
Your e-ring is beautiful...enjoy!

Congrats! I love that princess.

Its beautiful, such a romantic setting  congrats on your engagement :appl:

Here's a different angle, the under gallery really stands out

Here are some pics from the jewelry store where my ring was made, the wedding band in the second picture is the one I am leaning towards. Opinions welcome :D

It's beautiful, congratulations!!

What a lovely ring! Best wishes on your engagement!

I have always loved this style of setting! Congratulations, it's just beautiful! :appl:

Thank you! We were inspired by Tacori's 2565 style, but when I tried on the actual Tacori it was a little too delicate and I wasn't terribly impressed (especially with the cost). Our jeweler said that he could have it made using 14K white gold and the diamonds would be a little larger giving it more sparkle and bling. It still has the milgrain edging which I loved. I wanted it set lower than what Tacori's had and they were able to do that. Overall the ring incorporated all the aspects that we were inspired from Tacori with our own "twist" on things.

Oh my, your ring is just beautiful, and the band looks great with it! Congrats!

ETA: I was referring to the second band -What an idiot I am!

Amazing! I love the setting! I have never seen one like that before. It is so pretty

ETA: I agree, I like the second one a lot better. I like the first, but I don't think it looks as good with your engagement ring than the second one does.
