hi everyone, this is my first post but i''ve been reading this forum for over a year, just learning all i could about diamonds. i first came onto the site because i was interested in tiffany engagement rings, but quickly learned a lot more than i had anticipated! through this forum, i developed a love for asschers and especially the royal asscher. finally, when my boyfriend of 5 years asked me what kind of ring i wanted, i had plenty of input! 
so now we''re engaged, and i finally got my royal asscher, which was appraised by jeff averbrook of metro jewelry appraisers, who was such an excellent resource for information and verified that everything is great with the diamond. (thanks for the little jar jeff - it works great!)
so here are the specs:
royal asscher
size: 1.87 cts
color: H
clarity: VS1
measurements: 6.97x6.98x4.62
depth: 66.3
table: 57
polish/symmetry: VG/X
setting: ritani beadset partial eternity (i can''t seem to find this particular setting online, the usual thin ritani setting seems to have more of a channel look, whereas mine doesn''t look quite the same?)
ring size : 5 (to fit around my huge knuckles but it does spin a little on my finger)
so i''m going to try to get the pictures - for some reason every time i try to post, it keeps saying unspecified error... here goes nothing...
P.S. for the life of me i CANNOT get the pictures to come out close up and crystal clear! so sorry for the poor pics... doesn''t even capture what this ring looks like in person.
