Okay, so its soo ironic that I was getting down on the fact that "we''re never ever going to get engaged" yesterday. I posted, took a nap because I had a nagging headache and overall blah feeling. When I woke up, my now *fiance* called because he was off work and he said he was going to shower and come over to my house, which he does most days that I''m off work. I still didn''t feel well so I was lazy and stayed in bed, unshowered. He got to my house and noticed I was still in bed and said, "well, maybe if you take a shower and get ready for dinner, you will feel better!" I wasn''t really buying it and so he said, "well, I have a surprise for you, but you have to shower first." I was mildly suspicious, but tried not to get my hopes up. I took a shower, put on a sundress and came out the the back of my house where the family room is. He handed me a card that had all sorts of wonderful things about love written in it. He told me to hold my finger over the bottom line, so I did. When I got to the end, I lifted up my finger and it said, "Will you marry me?" I looked up from the card and there he was, on one knee with a dozen roses. There were 11 red roses and 1 white rose. Inside the white rose was the ring. He asked me to be his wife and I said, "YES!" We hugged and kissed and went out for a fancy Italian dinner. Afterwards we went to my parents'' where we drank champagne and then to his parents'' house followed by his grandmother''s apartment. It was a wonderful night!
