Hello all. I am finally nearing the end of my search for the perfect e-ring.

So I figured I would start on the search for the perfect engagement ring box.

Anyway I''d like to find something in sterling silver or a nice wood. I''m also thinking about getting it engraved somehow. Does anyone know of any good websites where I can take a look at different styles? Thanks a lot for any replies.

This doesn''t answer your question, but it''s something else to think about.

Most ring boxes have the ring pointing straight up. I thought that was normal. However, the box my e-ring came in has it sorta lying on its side so the diamond is resting on teh cushioning. When I presented the ring to my fiance, it was great cuz the angle the ring was lying at meant it was pointing directly at my girl. A stone looks the biggest when you look directly from the top, and when you present the ring in a box, that angle best shows off the stone.

I have seen boxes like that one you mention. But since I''m down on my knee won''t she be looking down at the box when I open it? That''s probably one of the only times it will spend in the box anyway.

You say that but I carry mine in the box more than I actually wear it.

Do a search for jewelery boxes and ring boxes because someone posted a link to some really cool wooden boxes.

Thanks for the link, those silver ones are very nice. As far as keeping the ring in the box, with as much effort as I''m putting into finding this ring she better wear it every waking moment.

That''s what I thought at first too. But, once you try it, you''ll see why. If it''s pointing straight up, you lose some of the angle she can see the stone from. The top section (the lid I guess) blocks the ring some. If it''s lying on the side, it''s kind of at a 45 degree angle from the one that points straight up. Allows you to more easily point the ring at your girl. More margin for error basically, which is good cuz if you''re on your knee, it''s awkward enough.

It''s not as if it''s lying flat in the box. It''s just angled some. I think in the Showroom section, the pics I took of the e-ring I bought shows it in the box.
