Hi all,
I have been reading through this v. helpful forum and after some amateur research i have got a 3 ring shortlist.
Setting is going to be white gold 6 prong solitaire and final shortlist is below;
I just cant decide wether to pay the slight premium for true hearts, go for the F colour, or finally the slightly larger size - your thoughts would be greatly appreciated

What is your budget for the stone?

And what is the finger size of the ring?

Are you stuck on going with VVS2? I would focus more on getting better color than that high of clarity of which you are paying for something no one will see. They WILL see color. My input would focus on the cut quality and high color, after that I would try to see what you can squeeze out on size but if you are talking about going high 90-pointers vs something like 1.01 ct you are paying too much because the visual size of the stone won't really increase yet you will pay a huge bump up in price per carat because you went over the 1 ct mark.

Agreed!

Thank you for the reply - my main worry was as buying on line i couldnt be 100% sure they were "eye clean" so was trying to be safe
Just found this though following your advice?

Pictures/videos of the last stone are a must...Low crown/low pavilion not favorable.

34 crown pairs with 41 pavilion
35 crown pairs with 40.6 pavilion

(both can be give or take a little but need to see up close images to see if they work together)

Yes, images as @tyty333 recommends - you should ask the vendor.
E color is a VERY good value as not discernible to most people (especially in that size) from D perfect color which will cost waaay more and that E brings you in the colorless range. It does make a big impact in to aesthetic beauty of the stone. I say this from someone who has had diamonds of various color grades.
This one has a lot of spread so it’s going to face up larger which would be nice for you to get the visual bump up on size but we don’t want it to be at the cost of performance. I don’t know if that’s the case here but we should make sure it is in an acceptable range.
Really try for images to post.
