Engagement Ring: Need help selecting between 2 diamonds

Hi Everyone, First post! I was recommended the following two diamonds and I am having difficulty between the two. The price difference between the two diamonds is ~700 CAD (I could push my budget to get the more expensive one, if it is worth it). The two diamonds are as follows and they will be set in a 18k yellow gold solitaire ring with 6 prongs.

HCA Score = 1.7, GIA Report Attached

Please let me know your thoughts regarding if VS1 is worth the ~700 CAD jump over the SI2.

I wouldn't choose the 2nd one with the HCA of 3.4

I don't love the SI2 option either.

What is your budget and preferred specs (color, clarity, price)?
