Engagement Ring - ready for the proposal!

Here it is, fresh from the jeweler's - the center diamond is from Blue Nile, .798 Round Brilliant F color VS2 clarity, Signature Ideal cut, AGS000. I had a local jeweler set it into an Almer setting, with 6 small round brilliants on each side (.23tcw) that are G color, VS2 clarity. I bought the diamond online for price reasons, but went with a local jeweler for easy and convenient resizing/servicing if ever needed. It sparkles like crazy!

Many thanks to everyone here on Pricescope.com who''ve helped me through this journey. Ellen found the diamond (thanks for suggesting it a second time!!), whose AGS cert was a little goofy on Blue Nile (only showed the top 2" or so in the scan and the rest was black). But, some perseverance on Ellen''s part and some cert# inspection revealed a truly beautiful diamond. I can''t wait to propose, knowing that I have such an amazing ring, and so much of it is owed to you Pricescope folks. I really and truly appreciate how much effort you put into a LOT of posts from people, just like me, who know they want something special, but are not well informed about the diamond/jewelry market.

I can never express how much it means to me that you helped me create such a lovely ring, except to say "thanks."

What''s the width of this band? I love every detail of this ring.

The width actually tapers from the bottom towards the center. It probably starts around 4-5mm and then tapers to only about 2mm against the center stone.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments I took the ring back to the jeweler''s to get it cleaned again - they''d left a bit of polishing compound on it. Now that they gave it a really thorough cleaning, it''s even MORE stunning!
