For sale is a pair of approx. 1.5 ctw diamond drop earrings, with antique cushion cuts and rose cuts, set in 18k rose toned gold and silver. Per the paperwork from the dealer which I will send you, these are handmade, estimated to be circa 1880's, European made. No stamps are on these earrings for metal purity. Each top drop is approx. 3.8 mm in width and the lower drop is approx. 4 mm. in width. Really hard to measure depth in the settings. I am basing carat weight on the dealer documents I have provided to me at the point of sale.
Diamonds face up white, probably ranging from I through K, depending on the stone. The stones do have nibbles on the girdles. These are old, old diamonds. I don't see visible inclusions with my eyes. They could use a prong retip. Some of the diamonds are very deep, with really high crowns. Overall, they work well together. They have a foliate/leaf design. They weigh 3.41 grams. The bottom diamond articulates. They are about one inch, top to bottom.
I paid $2150 for these. Yes, they do have some flaws, but these are old and overall, it is a pair of really charming, wearable earrings (please get them retipped though for safety!)
I'm offering them at $965. Shipping will be $17 in the US and if there is a balance, I'll cover the rest of the shipping. Paypal friends and family preferred. International buyers okay, contact me for shipping. Final sale on these, but I have many photos and can send video if you use What's App as well for size issues.
I did some comparison looking. Hard to find comps. But, it's getting harder and harder to find earrings this old in wearable condition.
Here is a pair, kind of similar.
