I was shopping around for something blingy to celebrate an upcoming milestone and got smitten with this ring since I've been getting more and more drawn to band style rings for the boldness and yet ease of wear.

I was wondering if anyone recognizes the makers mark stamped on the inside? It looks like maybe lGl ?

it's a pre owned piece and the seller didn't know much other than having done the basic appraisal to ensure the material quality lol.

Can't help with the hallmark, but oh my word, what a stunning & beautiful ring!!

very pretty!

Beautiful ring!

Those are the vendor photos. I am picking up the ring tomorrow and will post my own hopefully if I decide to keep it.

I feel like the fact that they took care to make holes behind the diamonds is reflective of it being decent quality.

So pretty, can't wait for your pics!!!

Beautiful band!

Ugh. I went to go get it from the post office but they couldn't find it. They said it was likely out
For redelivery. Fingers crossed!

Now to decide which finger to wear it on. :)

It's about 1ct of diamonds and a size 7 which I need to resize to a 6

Very nice and looks substantial!!

Haha yeah I've been gettin the dreaded DSS recently and wanted something with more blingy visual impact :)

Oooooo lovely!

I was wondering if anyone has had experience sizing a ring like this? I'm worried it may loosen the Melee. :/

I think it's really pretty, but I would be very afraid of sizing it. I honestly would only buy one my size. Sorry to say that, but I am afraid it could loosen some of the stones.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Sigh. Well I will take it my jeweler and see what they say. Maybe a sizing bar or beads in the inside?
Otherwise I guess it'll go back and I'll keep looking!

I took it to the bookstore and it's so pretty under those lights.

Do you think sizing beads would work?

Also, I've never had sizing beads or bars done.
For those of you who have had them in rings, do you find them uncomfortable? Was it an effective solution?

Loving the ring, very pretty and blingy!

I have a ring with 2 sizing beads and I honestly wouldn't know they were there. The ring is very comfortable to wear and feels like the correct size. It has a 2mm shank, though. I'm not sure how beads would work on a wider band.

Hmm. I'll try to visit my jeweler this week if I can to talk options..

In the mean time the closest I've found to this ring in my search for who made it is this image when I googled "diamond flower eternity". My ring is below it for reference. Pretty close but I also don't know how common a design it is

Beautiful band! Does look nearly identical to the Penny Preville, minus the milgrain.

Beautiful ring. Looks like a close match to the Penny Preville. I prefer yours without the milgrain.

I have a ring with two sizing beads and it is comfortable. I don't notice the beads at all.

I don't mind if it is or is not. I'm mostly just amused as I've never owned a "knock off" before and I certainly didn't buy this knowing it might be one nor was it falsely advertised. So I don't feel guilty about buying it, it's just novel. :)

Pretty ring!! What a great find MTG!!! Congrats to you!

Thanks! I've avoided the bling bug for awhile and decided to reward myself lol.

After visiting my jeweler they think that it my be a penny Preville that had the sizing part put in since the width of the ring there is thinner when you're looking from the top which may mean it was an alteration since the rest of the ring doesn't have any tapering like that. So the maker mark May have been removed in the process.

Who knows, it was sort of fun to watch them play bling Sherlock though and come up with conjectures!

Regardless, I'm enjoying how pretty it is! I ended up Not sizing it as I didn't want to risk loosening anything. Instead I got cheap plastic ring resizer things. It's not a graceful solution but I don't really mind. Nobody really sees the bottom of the ring but me.

Here are some pictures of the plastic fix. Lol.
I know I'm terrible. It's really not that noticeable though in real life. And of course you can't see anything from the front
