So I've been looking online for an engagement ring. I know that I basically want a shared prong eternity band with a head for a 1.31ct round. Locally they can take an eternity band and modify it, basically adds $500 to the price of the ring itself to add the head and whatever care package they offer.
I spoke to JA online to see the cost of having one created. I was told that they could not use an eternity band and add a head. Apparently the stock ring is unable to be altered. I would have to alter a sidestone ring to make it more like an eternity band. I'm waiting on the quote but I'm sure it's very expensive.
Are there any shared prong eternity band engagement rings already available? I found plenty that go half way around. A few that are 3/4. But zero that fully wrap around. It would make me feel better to not custom make it.
I'm aware of the sizing issues with eternity bands. She has had two kids and her ring size hasn't wavered from a 4.5.
