Full eternity
0.3ctw, F VS single-cut melee
Size: 5-1/8
Width: 1.6mm
Depth (height off finger): 1.4mm
Platinum PT950/Ru

I purchased this band a couple of months ago and have worn it exactly six times - it is in perfect condition. I have a matching band in a slightly smaller size that I wear nearly daily. This style works beautifully with vintage and deco E-rings - I love that it protects the melee so well whilst somehow staying divinely delicate on the finger! The melee are gorgeous and sparkle like mad, and the workmanship is pristine.

Happy to answer questions and/or provide more info!!

Vintage ruby french cut eternity

I bought a trio of bands from a reputable antique store here in town early this year - two ruby and one sapphire. I hardly ever wear them :( I'm giving the sapphire band to a friend and would love to send the two ruby bands to new homes where they'll be enjoyed and appreciated as well. The french cut faceting is irresistible and the stones light up in sunlight!!I personally always look for this style of azure, vs. circular holes drilled into the underside of the band, as this type looks much more refined and elegant to me.

This is a vintage piece. It has been recently polished and is in very good condition, but there is evidence of wear - some nicking and denting in the metal, worn facet meets, one stone shows some crazing. All stones are secure in the channel and the ring is structurally sound. I have done my best to accurately capture condition in these photos - please reach out if you have questions or concerns! Stones are most likely synthetic - priced accordingly.

I hardly ever wear them :( I'm giving the sapphire band to a friend and would love to send the two ruby bands to new homes where they'll be enjoyed and appreciated as well! The stones in this band are a bit lighter than the french cut band I also have for sale - it's lovely next to yellow gold :) I personally always look for this style of azure, vs. circular holes drilled into the underside of the band, as this type looks much more refined and elegant to me.

This is a vintage piece. It has been recently polished and is in very good condition, but there is evidence of wear - some nicking and denting in the metal, worn facet meets. One stone is chipped - see pictures. The chip is not visible from afar and the opposite side of the band is lovely, so I just wore the chipped stone palm-side and forgot about it! All stones (including the chipped one) are secure in the channel and the ring is structurally sound. I have done my best to accurately capture condition in these photos - please reach out if you have questions or concerns! Stones are most likely synthetic - priced accordingly.

0.72ctw, single-cut melee. No official appraisal but stones are definitely ower colour (I estimate K/L), and are clean through the loupe.

I bought this band a couple of years ago and I adore it! To be honest I'm on the fence about selling but... I've been consistently reaching for my newer Leon when I want a diamond band, and I have a couple of other projects I'd like to start on, so...

This is a vintage piece. It has been recently polished and is in excellent condition, but there is evidence of wear - slight nicking in the metal, the channel had milgrain that has mostly been polished away - it's visible on close inspection in some spots but from normal viewing distance just looks to be plainly polished. The stones are all in excellent condition and are secure in the channel, and the ring is structurally sound. I personally always look for this style of azure, vs. circular holes drilled into the underside of the band, as this type looks much more refined and elegant to me. The stones are lower-colour (I would say K/L) - the lower colour is my favourite thing about this band!! It pairs perfectly with J or lower centerstones: I love that I can wear it beside my J solitaire and truly not see any colour difference between center and melee. The melee are pretty forgiving, actually - I wore this band next to a loose M in a white metal ringholder and was surprised to note the same "can't see the colour difference" effect. The stones are clean, sparkly, and throw out a ton of coloured light :)

I LOVE those ruby bands! Unfortunately not my size but someone will be very lucky to get them and hopefully they buy them both.

Lovely bands Yssie. I have a question about the first. Your asking price is $2425 - less than the $2825 the invoice shows that you paid. But then you link to the leon's site where the ring is listed for only $2400. So I can see you're asking less than you paid, but unless someone looks closely at the invoice it's going to look like your asking price is greater than ordering new from Leon. Do you know why there's a discrepancy between what you paid and what's listed on Leon's site?

Can you see any differences between Leon's single cuts and the vintage single cuts other than the color? Thanks!

I have been looking for a vintage ruby band forever - I would have jumped on these! They are gorgeous. I need a 5.75 or a 6 :(

@StephanieLynn I hope so!! They're lovely, I'm just not enough of a coloured-stone person to properly appreciate them sad :((

@OFY Oh good question, thank you for asking! I have updated the LT listing with explanation. Leon's listing is for full cut melee - watch-quality single cuts always command a premium, which is why my invoice is higher ::)

@Skhii I do! The Leon band stones are smaller, and with the beads holding them it's much harder to distinguish individual stones - I mostly just see a string of sparkle. The vintage single cuts are channel-set so I can see each stone more clearly, and because they're larger they output more coloured light across a variety of environments. I think the Leon band's stones have higher crowns, and of course the setting is of superior workmanship and finish :)

The colour of those vintage single cuts, though... had me hooked me as soon as I saw it!!

@misslili Awww, thank you! Mine aren't sizable but I hope you find your vintage ruby band soon!!

The french cut ruby band has sold.

The vintage singe cut eternity has sold.

Why so tiny?!?!?! Damn my man hands!

@PintoBean :D I had a few responses - none of which are remotely appropriate for a public forum! LOL.

The carre band is no longer available.

Yssie is the 4.75 ruby still available? If yes I want it!!

It's no longer available, I'm sorry LLJ!
Both ruby bands are on their way to new homes!

The vintage single cut diamond band is available again!

The sale fell through prior to shipment so the piece is immediately available.

Accepting fair offers on both diamond bands. I'm not looking to rock-bottom on them but I do want them sold sooner than later, so if interested please reach out!!
::)

OMG! What a gorgeous collection of bands! I wouldn't be able to part with them! :wavey:

What gorgeous bands! I'm absolutely devastated that my fingers are much larger than yours. Hope they sell soon!

Reduced both diamond bands!!
