Eternity Dilemma...

I'm shopping for a full eternity band for my wife for her birthday. I'm back and forth on whether to purchase a 3mm 1.8ctw Tiffany Embrace (pre-loved) or a 3.5mm/3.7mm (2.80ctw or 3.40ctw) band from IDJ in a setting that mimics the Embrace. Basically, the choices are 10 vs 15 vs 20 pointers. I have purchased some pre-loved Tiffany diamond jewelry for her before and the quality is always there. I know the band will be a good performer but will a 15/20pt ring from IDJ be as good and have the bigger size? My wife is very petite. I think any of the sizes would like nice and none would feel overly dainty. She currently has a 3+ct solitaire with baguette engagement ring similar to the below. In the past, she has mentioned wanting an eternity band to wear when traveling or when she doesnt want to wear the engagement ring. That said, who knows, once she has the eternity band, she may end up wanting to wear it with the e-ring. All three rings are about the similar pricing (within $1k) and I'm driving myself crazy trying to decide! Looking for some fellow PS'ers thoughts!

The Tiffany bands were always so nice. I have had several of them and loved them all. Not as sure about their offerings today, but in the past they were exquisite. However, the sizes you are talking about are quite different.

Many have bought from IDJ and been happy. I could not say if it would be completely on par with Tiffany but I doubt it. Enough to make a difference in the decision? Hard to say.

Is it possible to ask her what she would rather have? I am sure you intend it to be a surprise but perhaps the surprise would be that you are going to buy her a band - the choice of which one is up to her. I think most women would be thrilled with that!

The other possibility is ordering the preloved Tiffany band IF the seller has an ironclad return policy. Do that first as it might sell. See what she thinks. If she wishes it were larger, then you might return it and call IDJ.

No concrete answer here from me but maybe some food for thought! Please come back with pictures when she gets the band of her dreams!
