I was lucky enough to score this beautiful landscape jasper from GemGazer! I really love it because it reminds me of the drive to Petra, where I went on my honeymoon. I’d love to hear setting suggestions - too bad it’s too big for my tiny wrist!

Gorgeous piece!

Personally, I would mount it on a frame so that it could be worn as either a brooch or a pendant. It is too big to be worn on the wrist IMHO.

DK :))

would it be hard enough ?

Brass is 3.0 (Mohs) and everyone uses that for belt buckles. I see plenty of buckles with agate and jasper -- maybe a 1" piece in a bezel against a big plaque of metal. This one would not even need a frame. If it's thin, might need a metal bezel and backing.

Nice idea! That actually reminds me I have a OOAK belt buckle I’ve never shared here. This is Fordite - the paint runoff from the Ford factory in Detroit.

It’s absolutely gorgeous and so unique. I would either:

1) set it as a pendant

Or

2) have a small easel made for it and display it on a dresser/ side table
