Exceeded all my expectations - and then some!

Years ago I found a photo of pendant that I loved but never thought I''d be lucky enough to own. I don''t even know where I found the picture it was that long ago! It''s survived a few computer crashes (all backed up) and being forgotton about for years and then ................ I found Sally on Etsy - recommended by some wonderful people here on PS.

I sent the photo to Sally and asked whether the pendant could be recreated recycling diamonds from jewellery I no longer wear but added a few twists to the design. Many emails later my diamonds were winging their way to Sally in Thailand. She entrusted the project to Phet, one of her team and a true artisan.

Sally sent me pictures earlier this week and told me my pendant was in the post .............. the photos floored me. Sensational, excellent craftmanship, superb attention to detail are just a few of the things I want to say BUT they''re just not good enough to express how delighted, over the moon and excited I am to own this truly unique one of a kind pendant. I LOVE IT

I know I''ve posted before praising Sally and her team and I hope this thread speaks for itself. Don''t hesitate to use Sally. You won''t regret it.

Oh and by the way, I was her first ever rose gold customer!!!

Stats:

Central Diamond: Natural pink diamond .47ct
White Diamonds: Approximately .75ct - 1.00ct
Metal: 18k white gold

LD - whenever you post something new, I''m always surprised by how unique and extraordinary the piece is, and your new pendant is certainly no exception! I never would have imagined something like that from the little pile of recycled jewelry in your first pic. Your necklace is stunningly beautiful, and Sally''s team did a wonderful job. Do you have a copy of the original pic? I would love to see the tweaks you made.

tyty333 - that is actually my neck in those shots because I have got it (and haven''t taken it off since opening the box)! I struggle with neck shots because husband can''t take a photo if he tries and so I''m limited to looking in the mirror and doing it that way.

Packrat - it''s funny but I''ve always concentrated on rings! Pendants have always come second and earrings, well, I had long hair until a week ago so they were hidden from view so I never really spent much on them either. Think I''m going to have to rethink earrings though!

cellantani - thank you so much for the huge compliment. I do love designing jewellery and tend to let my imagination run wild! I''ve had a number of disasters over the years where things haven''t quite turned out as I thought but with Sally I''ve found that she really listens and gives me exactly what I want. I''m so fussy so this is incredibly important to me. I love the way she also makes suggestions but doesn''t mind if you take them on board or not. I''ll be using her again VERY soon! In fact, there''s a project on it''s way to her as I type tee hee!

Gypsy - I''ve always adored your pendant. It''s just the sort of design I go for too. I''m glad you approve.
