Experience with Diamonds Direct?

Has anyone had any experience buying an engagement ring through Diamonds Direct based in Virginia Beach?

I just spoke with them about a setting they have that I like. I was trying to go through WF or BG but have not had luck finding the setting there.

Diamonds Direct explained their lifetime warranty policy and free replacement stones/free repairs and what not that they do, along with their upgrade policy and everything which sounded really good. He then explained the quality and sourcing of diamonds that they have which also sounded really good....

I'd just like to have a double-check with you guys here.

Any experiences with them?

I haven't gone to the one in VB, but I did look at maybe 15 diamonds at another Diamonds Direct. And they select the diamonds from a database that is common for all locations. I just felt that the quality of the diamonds were not great. When being shown diamonds- I did not even get to looking at the certification, whether there was fluorescence, clarity or dimensions (things that affect value). After not finding what I was wanting. I found a better and cheaper alternative online. However, there is some comfort in being able to visit a local store, and their policies are legit. I have a few other jewelry pieces from there.
