expert opinion on 2 selected stones

HI, everyone this is my very first post.

Like many before me, I am getting ready for my proposal (never thought this day would come) and have been doing loads of research on engagement ring.
Even ordered Ideal and ASET scope (pending delivery) and will use them to check out what is available in the local market.

Anyhow, i am looking for something around 1.5ct plus and the very best cut i can get for under 26k USD. (Ideally DEF and VVS1/2)

So far i have short listed 2 from WF. Would love to hear your view/assessments on these 2 stones.

I would ask Whiteflash to pull both stones and do a side by side video for you. They are both ACA diamonds so will be great performers. There will be a slight color difference, the F is a tad larger and may produce a bit more fire than the D color diamond. All of the differences will be slight so let your eyes decide.

Not VVS clarity, but VS1 will be visually the same, and I LOVE the 55 table.

Thanks for the advice, apart from the F possibly having a bit more fire, and the D being a touch more brilliance.. Any other difference anyone spotted? Symmetry? Geometry?

Will request WF to provide some side by side videos, but for my untrained eyes i doubt i can see much difference.

I love the one Lovedogs found. I agree with the 55% table and the 15.5% crown height. I would use this one to compare to the F instead of the D you found. I think it’s beautiful

Yup, more fire. But definitely not a big deal here since all options are amazing

It has to do with fire/light dispersion. The flashes come from the bezel facets, so the optimal size table of 55% lets the bezel facets, if they're cut well, be the show. This doesn't mean 55 is the only percent you should look for. There are numerous numbers and percents that as a whole, make up a great diamond. I don't know all of them, but this one I had looked up a while ago. Here is the link I used. They have a lot of good info.
