You're right that I should get a GIA cert for it. I'm not sure how much I'd like for it. I guess I'm hoping for $4-5,000. I'm open to offers and discussion.

I just looked up the fee schedule for colored stones and it will cost $120.00 for a report. This seems really reasonable but I don't know how long it takes. I think you should cert it and be happy with the price you are asking.

I think its good advice, because without a lab report, you can't tell whether its been treated and clarity enhanced, as many cuprians are these days, unfortunately.
