Checking to see if there's any interest in these earrings.
I took in these earrings as part of a trade from another member of Loupe Troop. I believe that she posts here as well.
These were sold to me as paraiba tourmaline. In the setting, which is very well made, the stones measure approximately 5.3 mm each. These are a round Portuguese cut. Each earring has 20 diamonds in it. Measuring the diamonds in the setting, anywhere from 1.1 to 1.2 is what I get for the millimeter size of the stones. So, on the low side maybe they have 20 points of diamonds and possibly closer to 25 points for each earring.
They are marked 14 karat white gold, with the 585 stamp. They're also marked with the brand Coast. I looked it up and it looks like they supply mostly bridal jewelry to independent jewelers. Not sure where the stones were sourced, but the vendor at least made the setting.
I don't have any information about the treatment for these stones but I would assume that they have been heated for certain.
If anyone is interested, let me know and I can set up a listing or I can just keep them hanging out in the jewelry box! Nothing wrong with these, just like anything else I have listed, it's just that I have many things that do not get worn. I think I have worn these once. I would be asking 1630 for these, with $25 shipping in the US. I would prefer PayPal friends and family or add 3 percent for an invoice fee. These would be final sale. Thanks!
Adding another photograph of the earrings next to an aquamarine.
They definitely have a different color than aquamarine, but I don't think that they are as neon as some of the other stones I have seen.
