Hello all! I took a new job last year, and while I am so excited about our mission statement, it pays (a lot) less than my prior jobs.

I was thinking about putting my AVC up for sale. 2.094ct H/VS1 (AGS cert dated Feb 28, 2013) purchased from GOG in April 2015. Measurements are 7.84x7.09x4.97. It's set in a platinum, double-prong cathedral setting sized 4.25-4.5 (not name brand but custom made at a local B&M jeweler in the Seattle area).

Asking $25,000USD. I've heard other members go through an appraiser to act as an "escrow" (where the ring is sent to an appraiser to confirm authenticity, then the funds are released, then the ring is released from the appraiser if I understand correctly), so I prefer to go that route as well.

If there's interest, I'll put up a LoupeTroop posting. :) . Thanks for looking!

This is a beautiful ring and a gorgeous stone! I wish you a speedy sale! May I ask if you've considered current market value of the stone when determining your asking price?

Hi @Krisking! Yes, the current value is considered. The alternative to selling private party is to use the buy back policy at GOG for me. I just thought I'd offer it up already-set to Pricescopers first. :)

Someone will be very lucky to have such a beautiful ring! I am quite partial to AVCs in double claw prongs. Best of luck!!
