figuring out inclusions is making me crazy!

I am comparing two SI1 diamonds. They are otherwise very similar = true hearts and arrows, G color, 1.25 carat. I am down to just trying to decide what kind of inclusions are acceptable to me. All this comparing is driving me nuts!!!

I am not able to figure out if an SI1 with fewer inclusions that seem to be dead center is more or less preferable to more inclusions and to the side. I am inclined to think I would prefer the one with more inclusions that are not in the center, but I am not sure! I know my feedback will be to check them out in person - but, I am not able to do so.

Here is what I am comparing:

You are driving yourself crazy because you aren't shopping correctly. '
lab reports do not tell you what you need to know. Which is: is the stone eyeclean and are all the inclusions safe. For that you need a good vendor who has the stones in hand and can tell you what he sees honestly. And large magnified pics of the stones so you can see what you think.

Yes, I have been told that both are eyeclean. And the seller told me that the inclusions were preferable in the one with inclusions in the center. But, I looked at the picture and saw black in the center and didn't think it looked better.

It comes down to personal preference and whether or not a black inclusion will bother you.

For me personally, I try to go with a diamond that has inclusions that are clear/white or light grey so that they are harder to notice. I believe since the ones you are looking at are SI1, that means the inclusions may be more noticeable without a loop. And since you are looking at diamonds over 1ct, it may be easier to see as well since the diamond is larger.

Maybe check out the other potential diamonds Gypsy posted, perhaps those ones are more eye clean.

Can they provide you with a picture of both?

And why is the one "BETTER". Better could mean a lot of things. Ask them WHY they recommend that one.
