Filene''s Running of the Brides---anyone did it and came out with something good?

I''ve just gotten engaged and am grasping at straws to figure out where I can get an affordable gown since I haven''t a massive budget. So I was wondering if I should wait for a Filene''s bridal sale next winter (since I''m planning for an August 2009 wedding). Anyone ever done it? Did you get your dream dress? Got pics?

I'm thinking HudsonHawk did one of the Filene's sales...I may be wrong, though. I'm pretty sure at least one of the gals here on BWW has done it and possibly succeeded at finding a dress.
