Hi all! With everyone’s help I think I finally decided on a band to give a little sparkle to my new ring without taking away from my center stone or making it look smaller. Thank you guys so much! I know that all of you are as fussy as I am about wanted it to look classic and elegant and not overly blingy. It’s a hard balance and that center stone is looking smaller to me daily lol. Apparently thats a thing!
 
Looks great! I like the look of the plain band in between the ering and the eternity. It protects the prongs of your fabulous new ring! Happy 30th!!

Sadly the prongs of the eternity can cut into the ering. Sometimes it hits at the prongs of the ering and it becomes a structural problem. :-o Happily your plain band prevents that! :bigsmile:

hi, @Blondegirl, that is one classic beauty. IMHO, you don't need any other rings at all on that finger! Can I please see a hand shot of that ring just by itself. Although your stack (of 3 rings) also look very nice.​

Thats so cool you and I both got emerald cut rings about the same time! I've always wanted one since I was a teenager and I have 2 other engagement rings as well and this one is my favorite I think!!! Ok so I have gotten in 8 bands so far and these seem to be my favorite so far....20201221_153051.jpg

Ok @TIFFANYDIAMONDSLTD that is freaking huge and gorgeous! Agree with you on top band Though they all look great. I wanted a diamond band but lots I make my stone look smaller and can’t have that haha. What are the specs on your ring?

Yeah I got in a beautiful baguette band bar set that was same width as shank and it was too much ...the center is a 3.01 I SI1 gia measure 11.4x6.5 and in setting its 14mm long by 9.5 wide...what about yours? Its beautiful! I'd love to hear about yours too!
 
@TIFFANYDIAMONDSLTD mine is a center 3.01 SI1 J 9.65x7.00 . Amazing how the same weight can look so different. Yours looks so huge!

Yours is a 3.01 too? Wow this is crazy lol!! I actually got in another 3.01 to compare that is almost the exact specs as yours lol! Here is the paper and check out how close it is to yours..but the one I chose has a lot of bang for the buck..I found several 4 to 5 carat emeralds that faced up either smaller than mine or just a tiny bigger and weren't even justifiable in the increase in price to get a half or a millimeter larger 20201225_193656.jpg...but look at these specs on these and the weights....the first is the one i got almost exactly like yours Resized_20201028_123753.jpeg

That was an awesome find for you! I already feel like mine is shrinking haha. I can always size up / the place where I bought it is amazing and offers complete trade in. I love the proportions of mine - just wish it felt a tad bigger

I think your ring is absolutely beautiful!! ....Its taken me many years to learn that bigger is not always better lol! My "main ring" is absolutely huge and sometimes I feel it is a little much or something...so my new emerald cut is scaled down and more tastful in my opinion lol!!!! Ive put the other one up for awhile and I'm loving this one !!!
