Yay! I''m finally engaged! *whew* I am so excited and even though I expected it lol I was still speechless (which is hard for me
)
Here is how it happened:
I knew he had reservations somewhere nice so I had advance time to get my hair and nails done
We went to the Palms and it was great I think he told the restaurant we were getting engaged but he didn''t have time to propose before we got to the restaurant. They were so nice haha we still got free dessert
The big surprise was that since we are both visiting our parents at the moment and have no privacy, there is a really nice hotel next to the nice restaurant and he made a reservation for a suite. We were both sitting on the couch and all of a sudden I look over and there he is on one knee and the ring! I don''t remember what he said everything was just a blur. I somehow managed to scream yes and hugged and kissed him so much that he finally said "How about putting on the ring?" LOL Which brings me to the ring: I absolutely adore it! I can''t take my eyes off of it.
The Jubilee is everything I hoped for and more...I cannot believe how much it sparkles in every light. It''s a 1.05 H SI1 set in a trellis setting, which I found I''m actually liking more instead of the Vatche x-prong. I like that its higher and I can see the side a bit. I wish I had pictures to show but my parent''s digi cam is about 3 years old and I can''t seem to take any good pictures with it they all come out as a blur or big flash of light. Luckily my fiance (lol its great to call him that!) has a better one which he''ll be bringing by tommorow night so I can take some good pics, hopefully!
