Finally got my wedding ring!

My engagement ring is a 1.17 Royal Asscher set in a white-gold euroshank ring with channel-set diamonds all the way down the sides. I had a custom wedding ring made to match it, set with alternating diamonds and gemstones (diamond-ruby-diamond-sapphire). I was incredibly picky about the gemstones (turned down four batches of rubies before I got the perfect shade), so it took darn near forever to finally get my ring, but I have to say, it''s gorgeous!

While I'm at it, this is my fiance's wedding ring. It's titanium with a copper and silver mokume inlay from Boone Rings. Unfortunately, it's so shiny, my pictures don't really do it justice.

Just out of curiousity, how much did the custom wedding band cost you? I need a channel set baguette ring, in platinum with sapphires that will match up with the baguettes on my e-ring (pictured below)...and I am afraid of what that will cost!

I love the way the diamonds look all the way down, with the ribbon of white gold down the edges. Positively beautiful!

GirlWunder, how did I miss your ering previously? A royal assher??? OMG! It's stunning, and the band is very unique. Your ering has a unique look itself with the stones graduating larger down the shank like that. I've never seen anything like it.

RM just got a ring from Boone too. It's pretty too and he and Looie are quite pleased.

Your e-ring is very elegant and unusual. The tapering of the diamonds along the shank is unique and smooth. I would love to see a closer-up shot of the wedding band and the wedding band with the e-ring (since we seem to be requesting photos of you!!).

Hey Girl Wunder - What a wonderful set of rings! THe RA is just superb - that setting really shows it off! Is it a vintage setting or custom? I am looking everywhere to find something, at least ideas, to have a band made for my soon-to-be-RA. Do you have any suggestions - since you taste is great and you may have given it a lot of thought!

Just love the muti-stone wedding band. It's nice to see so much personality and creativity in your choices (your fiance's ring included). After all, it's all about you two! Best wishes
